Five minutes after check-in, there was a knock on our door. It was Jessa from room service, welcoming us with a Conrad stuffed animal, a plate of sweets, and a personalized welcome note waiting on the table. That thoughtful start set the tone for the rest of our stay at Conrad Manila Hotel.

Having amazing service people makes every travel experience worth it. I’ve explored other hotels and luxury stays in Manila, such as Resorts World Bayshore Manila. Some of these resorts are also ideal for important work events, with facilities for team building activities.

Flying in from Dubai, my Manila stopovers are usually a mix of errands, embassy runs, and family time. But for this trip, I gave myself three days of pure comfort and convenience. The hotel is the nearest airport for travelers flying in and out of the city. It’s near Manila International Airport, after all.

Spoiler alert: it’s the kind of stay that makes Manila’s traffic almost forgivable!

What really sets Conrad Manila apart isn’t just the yacht-inspired design or location. It’s the people. The staff here embodies Filipino brand hospitality: warm, genuine, and surprisingly personal.

By the third day, the service team – shoutout to Justine, Kyle, and James – still greeted us by name, making us feel less like hotel guests and more like family returning home.

Especially, I can’t forget Eunice at the reception. She extended our days of check-out and patiently assisted us with our questions. She also confirmed our arrival time and other special requests box notes. These thoughtful touches make the whole experience so smooth and memorable.
