A Manila to Caticlan seat on Friday 30 October was going for PHP 3,704 when we checked fares on 18 October. The same route on Sunday 1 November? PHP 2,238. Same route, same island, 40 percent cheaper, just because most of the country will be at the sementeryo that day instead of at NAIA.
